King Spa is committed to providing an inclusive experience for all our guests. We provide elevator access to all three floors of our spa. If you have specific needs or require additional assistance during your visit, please let our staff know, and we will be happy to accommodate you as best we can.

Visiting a Korean spa, or jimjilbang, is a cultural experience focused on relaxation, socialization, and wellness. In the gender-segregated bathhouses, nudity is standard, and guests often walk around the locker rooms freely with little concern for modesty. This openness can be surprising for newcomers but is considered completely normal in a Korean spa setting. Small towels are provided but are mainly used for washing or covering the head, not the body. Keep in mind that visiting the nude bathhouse is optional and not required.

The atmosphere in a Korean spa is social and community-focused, with guests moving between saunas, lounges, the bathhouse, and relaxation areas. Families and friends often spend hours enjoying the amenities together.

Visiting a jimjilbang requires an open mind, but embracing the experience offers a deeper appreciation of Korean wellness culture.

Nudity is only required in the gender-segregated bathhouses in the men’s and women’s locker rooms. Visiting this part of the spa is optional and not required. Comfortable spa uniforms are provided during your visit while you explore our other spa facilities.

Your daily admission pass includes access to:

Your pass also includes:

• Spa uniforms (all sizes available. Must be worn during your visit)

Please Note:

• Remember to bring your bathing suit if you plan to visit our outdoor or indoor bade pools (you cannot enter these pools without appropriate swimwear).
• Spa treatments, products, food & beverages are available for an additional fee
• You cannot leave our facility once you have entered. Please remember to bring all your belongings with you BEFORE entering the spa.

• Valid government issued photo ID (pictures of ID’s and foreign driver’s licenses will not be accepted)
• Swimsuit (Cotton & denim swimwear are not allowed in the water)
• (Swimsuits are available for purchase in the Locker Rooms.)
• Spa lounge uniforms & towels are provided during your stay at King Spa Virginia. 

King Spa accepts the following forms of identification to enter our facility:

• A valid driver’s license issued by any state in the United States or the District of Columbia
• Armed forces identification card
• U.S. passport or foreign government passport
• Valid special identification card issued by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles; or
• Any valid identification issued by any other federal or state government agency, excluding student university and college identification cards.

Forms of Identification NOT acceptable:

• Expired identification
• Foreign or international driver’s license
• Photo of identification document (you must present a physical copy)

No, you don’t need an appointment to visit King Spa and enjoy our facilities like saunas, pools, and relaxation areas. However, appointments are required for treatments and must be made on-site on a first-come, first-served basis.

King Spa is open 365 days a year, including holidays.

King Spa’s hours of operation:

• Sunday – Thursday 9AM to 11PM
• Friday & Saturday 9AM to 12AM

Outdoor pool hours: 

• Sunday – Thursday 10 AM – 10 PM
• Friday – Saturday 10 AM –  11 PM

Doors will close promptly at closing time, so we kindly ask that you plan to exit the building by then.

We currently do not offer any group discounts or packages. 

We recommend that you do not visit any spas while you are pregnant.  Our pools and rooms vary in heat from 94-200 degrees and it is not recommended for pregnant women. 

King Spa Virginia is a barefoot facility. Sandals and slippers are prohibited as well. You may wear clean socks. 

King Spa provides spa uniforms during your visit. Outside clothing is prohibited inside our spa and nudity is required in our gender-segregated bathhouse/shower area.

Swimsuits made of polyester, nylon or spandex are allowed in the Bade Pools and outdoor jacuzzis.  Cotton, denim and other street clothing are not permitted in the pools. 

G-Strings and thongs are also not allowed in the facility. 

Blankets and pillows are not permitted inside the facility. 

We are a smoke-free, alcohol-free and drug-free facility. Drinking, smoking or using drugs will result in immediate ejection from the facility without a refund.  Drinking prior to entry will also result in ejection without a refund. 

No outside food or beverages will be allowed under any circumstances.  We have a full restaurant and drink bar inside the facility for purchase. 

Do you have any promotions or sales? 

We currently do not offer any promotions or sales. Please check back periodically or you can enter your email for updates or like us on Facebook & Instagram. 

Yes, if the weather gets too cold or there is lightning/thunder, all outdoor pools will be closed for guest safety.

*Rain checks or refunds will not be given for any closures made by King Spa.

Abandoned items are held for 2 weeks at our location. King Spa is not responsible for any items lost in the lost and found.
